Whilst on an assignment photographing Venice I needed to get some images of the Island of Murano, famous for its glassware. Walking around the island I came across a small boatyard and spotted this spilt paint where the fishermen would paint their boats. Thinking that this looked like a Jackson Pollock painting I took a number of shots, increased colour saturation and ended up with this image along with a few others.
